Add 18.85.8.46 to your XMeeting contacts (H.323).

On the Xmeeting screen, select 18.85.8.46 (or the name you've assigned to it) from the pull down contacts at the bottom of the screen, and push the telephone icon. It will "ring" to connect and you'll hear a voice welcoming you to the conferencing system and you'll see the Center for Bits and Atoms logo and a list of conferences.

Pull down the menu from 'Window' and select 'Tools' (or select tool icon from X meeting window).

On the 'Tools' window, at the 'Remote Control' tab, enter 1# to select the Fab conference. This will connect you to the conference.

Also, on the 'Tools' window, at the 'Audio/Video Control' tab, click the 'mute' box at 'Built-in Input' and select your video device (e.i., Built-in iSight).

From laptop, use headphones when unmuted or speaking to prevent echo and feedback from coming across.

Once connected, there are toggles at the bottom of the screen and you can also use the 'Remote Control' pad arrows to zoom in and or change the screen views.
