One-Dimensional Cellular Automata
The state of each cell in the next generation depends on its current state and the current state of its two neighbors. If all three are yellow, the cell will remain yellow. If all three are green, the cell will change to yellow. In all other scenarios, the cell will be green.
The state of each cell in the next generation depends on the current state of its left and right neighbors. If both are blue, the cell will turn cyan, and if both are cyan, the cell will turn blue. If the left neighbor is cyan and the right is blue, the cell will turn blue. If the left neighbor is blue and the right one is cyan, the cell will turn cyan.
