Press fit motocross bike stand from 1/4 inch plywood
The assignment was to make anything that we wanted with the stipulation
that it was press fit. I decided that I wanted to see how much weight
something that was pres fitted could handle. So I decided to make a press
fit stand out of 1/4 inch plywood for my motocross bike since its heavy
and my old stand was pretty beat.
The design was done using Solidworks 2005 and the part files that
I created can be found here. The parts were cut using a laser cutter
so I had to export the Solidworks sketeches to .DXF, ch are also here.
