This week was a bit of a mystery to me...

The project was given to class to be completed as a group. We decided upon milling a very small gear. As seen in the image bellow, one can follow the laser's trajectory on the monitor. Goggles need to be worn when observing the process, as the intense light can be damaging to the eyes.

After punching in a variety of commands and co-ordinates and waiting for some time while strange sounds were produced, a miniature gear emerged from the oddly oversized micromachine.
