Final Project

Goal

For my final project, my goal is to develop an inexpensive but capable digitally-controlled actuator suitable for a wide range of robotics applications. I will start with an inexpensive gearmotor from the fab lab inventory and develop the feedback and control electronics to add torque, velocity, and position control and feedback.

I will then use my actuators to build a mobile robotic platform, using a variety of tools, techniques, and processes.
