I was attempting to create a case made of 4 shells.

Side shells and top bottom shells are identical and interconnect.

The shells are held together using a rubber band interwind between the shells.

How to (NOT) make a case !

When I created the negative of the above design I miss-imagined the result so I actually placed the top and bottom parts of the mold as negative instead of positive - since i forgot that the silicone would actually function as the negative.

So i had to remold the wax again - which was a good practice for the shopbot skills - but taking me back to square one.

and reedesign the molds ...

First mistake - Negative is Positive

There was no way I could have casted accurately into these holes

Just a fun experience ... nothing really to say. OOMOO is pure fun !!

Second mistake - Pouring holes too small

final results .... not yet - top and bottom need to be re-casted - sides are ok.
