Designing schematics, building and stuffing
Using Eagle is initially tricky. Components are added to a schematic 'window' from part libraries, and then rearranged on a board 'window'. Within the schematic it's possible to make links instead of drawing wire connections. By labelling the networks and connections, Eagle automatically connects them up. This way you can have a board which is still clear to read. Above is my final schematic.
Milling caused a lot of difficulties. The outside trace png wouldn't convert into a trace in the fab modules, and once it did, the modela kept trying to cut in the centre of the bed, regardless of the instructions. Eventually I settled for a less than perfect board.
The stuffing was relatively straightforward.
