AWS HTMAA FINAL

For my final HTM(A)A project, I am going to make a table-top prototype of one device outlined below. Using IR communication, the devices communicate and sense proximity using IR intensity. The goal is to create a simple feedback loop, where individuals' devices pulse when they are within a distance threshold.

The first step is to get the devices talking over IR.

The board uses a TSOP IR receiver (far left) to communicate data through PWM signals in the 38 kHz range (the one used by most commercial remotes). The IR phototransistor (far right) is used to sense IR intensity as a function of the density of devices in the surrounding area.

Schematic for the board.
