This week's assignment involved the creation of a fiber composite object. I decided
to extend my board project from week 5.
New Board Milling
I had to mill a new board because the old one was damaged.
Burlap Lazercutting
I cut the parts and created a pattern on the burlap by burning a raster on the fabric.
Attaching Burlap to Foam
Attaching the burlap to the foam was quite hard. I used pins to keep it in place.
Final Board
After I pinned the burlap on the foam I poured the resin. The final result was not
perfect because the burlap was really thick and it wouldn't fold in the right way
even with the use of the vacuum bag.
