Project 01a

Project 01a

Decided to make a gift for my girlfriend, an adventure time sticker for her laptop.

I found a great image on google, and used the class tool (http://mod.cba.mit.edu) to convert the file into a vinyl cuttable form.

Vinyl cutter settings

  1. Force: 140
  2. Speed: 20 cm/s
A little trouble on the left side meant I needed to use an x-acto blade to finish the cut on the backpack

Note: careful not to let the weeded vinyl touch the small fine lines you want to leave. The vinyl sticks quite strongly to itself and can ruin the sticker.

Partially weeded, kind of like that this is a nice way to improvise lighting effects for a sticker.

Completely weeded. Fist bump!

And ready for action.

Neat trick, if you want to align your sticker around or on top of your apple symbol, open the cover so it lights up, and then it is easy to use as reference.

We totally fist bumped after this :)
