FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL: Adjustable Mannequin

The idea is to make a mannequin that can change size so it can be used for sewing clothes for different people or for the same person over the years.

Then you can get pregnant, gain/lose weight or get plastic surgery worry-free!

It could be possible to scan my body wearing some kind of a spandex onesie, and then in SW to slice it up into pieces that could be made (maybe even laser cut) out of a minimal amount of material and used to drape cloth over for sewing.

Here's a sketch of one slice. The spring looking things are for expanding or contracting each slice. They could be linear actuators or maybe even actual springs. The bars to the center ring would a support or maybe an actuator. It could be cool to have a string or something where you could stand a prescribed distance next to the mannequin and measure out your own body with strings for each different slice.
