This week I wanted to make an output of light that is changing color like rainbow! I used eagle to design the board. Designing was not the hardest part this week since I learned about the program a few weeks ago.
I had trouble milling the board. I guess the edge was not really sharp because the milled board that I got was not really neat as you can see.
I had a mistake when putting things on the board because I had the Attiny45 linked with the jumper that's why the board did not work. It took me about 40 minutes to figure out what the problem is. I got help from Rob to figure out whether to check out the connection between the jumpers and the attiny 45 legs. We found out that the legs that are at the top were too close to the linkage. I guess I can blame the sharpness of the milling machine since my design was not connected.
Since I was soldering and desoldering like ten times, the lines were gone. I had to reconnect them with wire since they were not connected even after soldering them. After two hours of struggle because of this, I finally got it working!
I managed to change the program that was provided by Neil, to blink the faster and faster. It was fun to change with the speed of the cycle. I thought that it resembled the lights at a night club! fun!!!
Lesson leanrned this lesson: always always check the miling edge to ensure that the board will be millied clean. So that you don't have to go through the struggle I'd go through.
