Currently, my idea for the final product is a pair of transparent wings with strips of or individual LEDs that will take sound input from the environment and interpret it as light pulses.

I then had to get my website situated. This class is using Mercurial for distributed version control. I'm running Windows, so I used Matt's tutorial to get set up. For the CSS and HTML framework, I used Type&Grids' Hawthorne template. I'm extremely thankful to Dana for helping me figure out the command line.
Some commands to know:
- hg status- what's changed?
- hg commit- takes a snapshot of your local archive
- hg pull- pulls the current archive locally
- hg merge- use after a pull to sync your changes and the archive changes
- hg push- put your stuff into the archive
It was a bit of a struggle
But I've (mostly) figured things out now, and this site exists!
