Week 14: Tiny Solar Proto House to Go

Adventures in Making

Tiny Model of Tiny House

1: Inspiration and Design

Next year I'm all in to build a tiny house mounted on a trailer bed. I'd like it to feel like a combination of a life-size fairy house and a delicate yet sturdy Norwegian cabin. The aesthetic and inside will be pine-y, bare wood. I grew up in an upstairs bedroom whose walls were slanted (small bungalow, no dormers) and unfinished, and so a sleeping loft would feel like home. Combining bare wood and white sounds right-on, with splashes of color from mugs, rugs, and book

The press fit design for this model was directly inspired by David Yamnitsky's press fit standing desk. This was actually a Kickstarter Project for Fab Class See below!
