This week our section made a painting machine. I helped with the controls by getting Python set up on my computer (a task in itself), downloading the gestalt libraries, and learning the basics of controlling the machine with the example codes provided. I set up the network with two nodes and managed to get the machine to operate two axes. Alot of this work was repeated later by Sarah when she set up the controls on her computer. I also helped a little bit with the piece that holds the paintbrush in place.
