Interactive Railing Final Project Concept

For my final project I am interested in making an interative railing prosthetic, that responds to users according to the amount of pressure they apply to the railing. I want to explore the use of pressure sensors and more specifically bone conduction amplification.

Using bone conduction, a technology developed for hearing devices, I want to create an installation that transmit sounds through the arms of the users when they rest their elbows on the railing and hold their ears closed. My goal is to make several custom-made sound conductors that would be mounted to the railing and send sounds of music and/or stories through vibrations; it would be completely silent/ undetectable unless the user touches the railing.
