When I first tried to mill the board, it shifted partway through the job. I pushed view thinking it would cancel the job, turned the board around and
started the job again. It resumed from where it left off, so I had to run the job a second time to mill the first minute or so. Before doing so I made sure
to drill a dot at the origin again so I could cut the board out of the sheet! Lesson learned- tape down your board well and close the progress window
to truly cancel a job!
I think the sharpness of the tool makes a HUGE difference. I took out a new tool after the person before me milled, and my board came out really
smooth and I didn't need to sand it at all!
Soldering was my favorite part. There's something therpautic about making the tiny parts go together. I messed up the resistor location a couple
of times, and the IC1 was difficult at first, but other than that I think I got the hang of it!
I kept forgetting to use the flux pen, which may have sped up the process, but it took about one and a half to two hours to complete
I didn't get to program the board, and kept getting the message "No rule to make target 'clean'" and "no command 'clean' found" To be continued!
