This weeks assignment is to make an output device. Since I am pretty new to these things I am going to start with making Niel's LED Array and RBG LED directly and program them. Then I will go back and create my own design and layout it out in eagle, mill, stuff, and program it.
I will not go into detail about the process of making since we have covered this in previous weeks, but here are some process photos of making the two boards.
There is an issue with the LED array that I have to debug, but the RBG LED works fine! I will now attempt to make my own board in eagle and then mill it and program it.
Here is my layout, I am learning how to do small things in eagle like adding in bitmaps. I hope by the end of the semester I can do something more creative than just cutting out an image but instead actually incorporate the design of the board into the the image, but this will do for now.
I then export the traces for milling on the Modelo, similar process as usual and here is the final board!
