Goals

+ Wire and program tons of LEDs without so many outputs from one IC.
+ Identify common parts that support mass expansion of LED arrays without individually driven (and expen$ive) LEDs (Adafruit).

TLC5940 Driver

It was recommended that I first look into the TLC5940 driver, as it is a favorite for hobbyists, and is therefore well-documented.
