group projects: machine design and fab

As a group, we in the Harvard section of HTM designed and fabricated a pancake printer / icing writer / CNC-extruder of various edible goos. The design was based on reconfigureable SCIENCE modules that are designed to serve as axes for arbitrary end effectors. I was part of the chassis team, and I specifcally laser cut the SCIENCE modules to serve as the degrees of freedom for the machine.

The collective effort was meticulously cataloged by Tiffany Cheng here.
