A little bit about me...

I am currently attending Harvard Graduate School of Education as a Master's student in the Technology, Innovation and Education (TIE) program. I have not done a lot of fabrication using sophisticated machines in the past; but I have been hand-making things and sewing since high school. Here are some of the pictures of what I've made in the past:

You might be wondering why I am using dark green for the font color here...

In English we often use "green" to describe the fact that you are new to something. I am therefore using dark green to represent how new I am to (digital) fabrication. I have zero background in all the materials and fabrication techniques that will be covered by this course. My goal is, at the end of the semester, I could be confident enough to use a lighter shade of green, or even some other color, to represent how I feel about fabrication.

Possible ideas for the final project and for things to play with...

I have always enjoyed designing personalized gifts for my friends' birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I like to think about what would make them happy based on what I know about them. Let's become friends and then you can be my source of inspiration!
