After testing Freecad, Gimp, Zbrush and many of the other programs shown in the class I wanted to learn how to design a piece of furniture for my new house.
And I also wanted to make the design parametric so I can customise it for various materials.I decided to go with Fusion360 for my shelf design
I liked how the interface was more visual and intuitive and I really like the logic of designing with mid-planes and mirroring of bodies.
Also another great feature is the fact that you can create tool paths for the shop bot in Fusion 360.
I followed this tutorial for learning how to create parametric designs in Fusion 360.
