Wanting to create a composite stitch for a piece that has flexible components and a rigid component, similar to looking at the same module made in week 01 out of bristol, but instaed out of composite materials. Looking at the module as a single composite of a hard and soft material, so there is a structural component vs a maluable component - looking at rigid 3D printed parts composited with flexible silicone parts

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once the machining of the wax was done, and the 3d printing was done, nesting all the pieces together and taping the edges so that casting can begin. Machining wax was very very accurate, so the ridges from the bit was very noticable.
