This week we built in system programmers from "scratch", using a mill to cutt mill pcb traces and then attached all of the parts necessary to program the ATtiny45 on the board. Things went very smoothly this week. I had a bit of trouble getting the traces to cut out completely but after a lowered the endmill a bit everything cut out quite nicely. The only other problem that I had was that the USB hub on the computer I was using was only sometimes detecting my board. In the end it seems like this was a USB2 --> USB3 problem.
