At least almost...
My idea was to make a cardboard pinball machine with replacable obstacles. The obstacles were flat barriers and spinners. The board was to sit on an angled box, so that the ball would roll down. The flippers were to be made to they were attached to the whole apparatus. I didn't end up cutting out the flipper or spinners. Nevertheless, the game can still be played using two pens or utensils inserted into the holes on the box.
Here are pictures of the designs of the pieces not included:
The pieces snap into the board very well. They are pictured here:
The key to getting them to fit right was understanding kerf. For the cuts I made, it helped to think of it like this: If I was going to cut a gap, it would end up 0.02 inches larger than the CAD measurement. If I was going to cut a tab (to be inserted into a gap) it would be 0.2 inches shorter (width wise).
The box, pictured above had ends that folded in and snapped into place, holding the sides up.
The board fit into the box and sat right under the hole where the pinball would be inserted.
Here is a video of me actually playing the game.
Here is the final pinball game!
The person who lived in my apartment before me left A LOT of holes in the plaster wall. (They had tried to nail a loft bed into a plaster wall, who does that?!). After going on Etsy for a while I found these really cute pineapple stickers. Then I realized I could cut them myself!
I found a basic black and white image online and saved it (as a jpg). Then I used an online site to convert it to a jpg. Then I resized it in the mod vinyl cutting program by adjusting the dpi (dots per image). Then loaded in a yellow roll and cut it! I cut it off from the rest of the roll and peeled off the parts I didn't want in the image. Then I used masking tape to apply to it. I took it home and tried to stick it to the wall. The masking tape, however, was too sticky. The vinyl stuck better to cardboard than the wall so I stuck the pineapple to my pinball machine instead.
If I could do this again, I would NOT use masking tape as the transfer material.
