Week 8: Input Devices

Capacitive Sensing (and failed Force Sensitive Resistor)

Capacitive Sensing

1. Introduction

This week we had to make some sort of device that read inputs by the user. I decided to do a twist on capacitive sensing based on Rob's design, by having two copper plates and pressing them together for increased capacitance. I originally tried to make a force sensitive resistor out of foam by following an online tutorial but sadly it didn't work.
