WEEK 1: Initial thoughts for a final project

Newly concussed. Really wanted to take this class so I pushed through and tried to make something despite not really being able to read or look at screens. Did what I could which was this SolidWorks model.
 
My roommate and I were wishing for a wine-proof couch so I started thinking how I could maybe I could make that a reality. Since liquid resistant fabric already exists I was thinking how I could really rethink the couch. This is a mesh design that is close knit and taught normally and when it senses moisture it expands to let the liquid fall through.
