Learned how to use GitLab for project management. The GitLab can record the history of the files in the projects and all files has mirrors locally for editing files locally. I developed my own website.
Learned how to use computer control the Laser cutter and Vinyl cutter. I used Laser cutter made a Mechanical Calculator (part of it, not finished yet) and Vinyl cutter made a Ironman Laptop sticker.
Learned how to user miller to produce 1 layer PCB board and prctices my soldering skill (I really have a mixed feeling about this part...). I made a ISP programmer using ATtiny45 based on Brian's tutorial.
Learned how to use PRUSA 3D printer for printing plastic component. I made 2 hollow balls with holes on the surface and also many LEGO bricks :)
Learned how to do electric scheme design and PCB layout. I designed a board with Microcontroller ATtiny44A-SSU. I made it and programmed it with the ISP programmer made in Electroncis Production week.
Learned how to use VCarve + ShopBot to cut wood board.
Learned how to do the embeded system programming. I finished the programming of the ATtiny44 board I made 2 weeks ago and I also made a Mega328P Arduino and will use it as the control board of my final project.
This week we learned how to make Mold using wax and OOMOO and make casting using drystone and metal. I made out the first 3D model I made when I started to learn Solidworks for the first time.
Learned different input devices for measuring different things. I made a liquid level measuring instrument.
Learned different output devices, including display devices, motors and so on. I used a continuous servo made a linear .
Learned different kinds of data communication methods and networks. I tried the RF24L01 2.4GHz RF communication module.

Interface and Application Programming
Learned how to build Interface and Application by using different programming language. I made a little Pong game in terminal by using Curses lib and a snake game controlled by a self-made Gamepad.
Learned how to use the amazing machine Zund, and as Alfonso said in Machine week: This is the coolest machine he have ever used. I used it make a little night table

Hi! My name is Fangzheng Liu. I'm from China. I'm a first year graduate student & RA in MIT Medialab , Responsive Environment group . After I got my Master degree in Information & Signal Processing, I worked in Alpha Megnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02) Experiment at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) for one year. FYI-I'm a huge fan of ONE PIECE!
