Requirements

MAS.865 requires as a prerequisite MAS.863 or equivalent experience in all of the skills it covers, including 2D and 3D parametric design, additive and subtractive fabrication processes, schematic capture and PCB production, electronics test and measurement, microcontroller interfacing and embedded coding, network and application programming, Web development and distributed version control.

The course will be taught with a mix of online lectures, campus and home labs. You're expected to already have access to shop facilities, and to have received their safety training (material costs will be covered).

MAS.865 is a research seminar; each student will responsible for contributing to reviews, components, and systems.
