WISDOM

Such things we learned for future iterations:

Dawn: On the chassis, I think the whole machine was overbuilt. We erred on the side of overdesign (oversized rods, lead screws, etc), since we didn't have time to do all the calculations and iterate if it didn't work on the first few tries. The chassis could probably be built with a smaller, lighter frame now that we know the sorts of forces we are dealing with. However, we did several really smart things that should be kept in future iterations. We used slotted holes everywhere possible, which made it easy to adjust parts of the device as we aligned the precision rods. Also, we minimized the amount of parts we had to make machine to save time - this also made for an easy-to-manufacture and easy-to-assemble machine.
