For this week's assignment I've worked with Siggi and Charlie on Integration's IA4421 radio chip. We did not succeed - at the moment - to make it work properly but will spend some more time this week on the host PCB and communication between ATtiny44 MCU and IA4421 system-on-chip. It seems like the IA4421 is not responding to the SPI opcodes we send to it in order to initialise a transmittion. We used a frequency analyser to monitor airwaves and tuned it to 433MHz which is the band our radio was configured to operate on but did not succed in getting signals at that particualr frequency. Our PCB feeds the IA4421 with the right amount of voltage and oscillation.
