Reading Illustrator file formats into Corel Draw
First, draw a box around the file that is the same size as the format you are working in. Save the illustrator document as a 1.0 SVG file. You can select 1.0 after selecting SVG as the file format.
Then, import your image into the Coreldraw file you are making. Once you place the file, it will not look like the file you want, but this can be fixed.
Right click some of the dots that you see in the file and select revert to style.
The image should now look normal, but not be the right size. Resize the object in the upper left menu. After you resize, you can ungroup the objects and remove the box you drew.
Now you can print the file to the laser cutter! Using all the other information this class provides you.
