3D Bioprinting and Biofabrication

Week 9 >Print whatever you want using a custom-made bioprinter.

For our bioprints we used a thermoresponsive gel called Pluronic. First, we optimized our bioink formulation, then printed our files using the bioprinter. Printing 3D soft matter structures with well defined geometrical features requires a careful parametric study of the independent process parameters suc as extrusion rate and tranlational stage speed.

Next Week: Measurment and Imaging

Use Expansion Microscopy (ExM) to to visualize a mouse brain slice with improved resolution on a light microscope.
