Occasionally (especially if you are making 3-axis machines), you may have need to cut some hardened steel bearing rod quickly. By far the easiest way to do this (and without applying manual force or damaging cutting blades) is to use the waterjet. Draw a line in OMAX Layout, tape (masking tape will do for short while) your stock to some disposable substrate, and cut away!
