This week's goal was to learn the laser cutter.
My original intention was to add the ability of motion to GIK, Grace's invention kit.
The first step was to develop a hinge. In the end, the hinge didn't make it into the final project, but it was very easy to do, and could have a place in many projects. This eventually led to a pseudo universal joint.
Soon I embarked upon the idea of an automata built with a crank and cams.
