"Quantum Entangled" Watches

Project: Create two watches which wirelessly communicate to maintain synchronicity. They should have a range of about 100 meters. When you change the time on one of them, the other should reflect the change.

These wireless watches could have other applications in wireless output display. The hour hand could indicate mode while the minute hand provides output information.

Pieces: This is a digital-analog watch. There will be a circuit board controlling the transceiver, and controlling the movement of the hands.

Subtasks:

• create motors
• create gears
• design and assemble board
• create hands and face
• program wireless protocol and motor control

Components: The wireless controller will be a Zigbee Chip from ChipCon, CC2500. The micro controller will be of the ATtiny family from Atmel, possibly ATtiny 12. I will purchase the watch housings pre-made, but I will manufacture new internals, including gears, and motors.
