This week's assignment was to simply "make something big."

I had a pile of 6' 2x4s and I thought it would be great to turn them into a bench by machining a frame for them:

But the ShopBot was all booked up. So I turned my attention to the waterjet and decided to look towards my final project by cutting out a map of the MIT campus:

So, okay, maybe the map isn't big, but it references something big...

Eventually, I'd like to connect a map like this to the data at courseshopping.org, another one of my side projects.
