FABISP
Finally it works! Spent %80 of time debugging small problems.
Milling had a few trouble. Had to do some work to ensure that the mounted board was completely level with the modela. Eventually needed to increase the z to get it to work.
Lessons learned
- Flux is great, and makes solder do what you want
- Use eye pieces/microscopes to find loose connection
- Allocate lots of extra time
Some feedback
In the fabisp board, a few students had a short around the circled connection above shorted. It seems the layout could be designed to make those traces a little bit more distant from each other.
