10 Group Work

For the machine building group assignment, our section decided to utilize 4 linear stages to create a cake icing 3d printer. I was part of the group that was responsible to design the frame or chassis. After Jacob had modeled the basic arrangement of the 3 parts in place, I designed the two vertical supports that would hold up the horizontal one across. Albert and Gabe then lasercutted the piece and we came together to assemble the pieces, which entailed a lot of glue gunning. The complete project documentation can be found here.
