Who Am I?

I'm a second-yeard graduate student in the Integrated Design and Management program at MIT. Though I have a background in business, I have used my time at MIT to dive into making, learning a variety of physical and digital fabrication methods. I've enjoyed working with undergraduates in fabrication workshops in "2.00A Introduction to Engineering Design" and currently for "2.00: Introduction to Design", helping them follow the design process and create safely.

I'm generally interested in creating connected devices to promote mindfulness and physical wellness. These projects range from simple/silly to more substantial. Last year in the Integrated Design and Management lab, I created a device (essentially a scale) that would walk me through the choreography of making pour over coffee without having the keep track of weight, time or number of pours—this was driven by my obsession with making the perfect cup of coffee as well as a desire to have 5 restorative minutes of enjoying the ceremony and fragrance of home brewing. Currently, I''m exploring devices that promote mental wellbeing in this course.
