For this week, I decided to make a board for bipolar stepper motor, which is also going to be used for my final project. I found a nice video for beginners that explains how stepper motor works. I also looked into the A4953 PWM Motor Drivers datasheet. A4953 is designed specifically for running motors.
I used Eagle to draw schematics, and the rest of the process was pretty straightforward.
Now to milling.
Now to soldering. I made some scratches on the board while trying to debur it with a ruler,
but the overall milled quality was good enough.
While soldering, one of my concern was that I did not set an enough size of the pad, but
I assumed that it would be fine when running a not-so-robust motors.
