Molding and Casting
Goal: Mold and cast my face (Death Mask)
Solution: 3D Scan --> CNC a Mold --> Cast it
Step by Step
1. Scan with Artec3D Leo scanner, with the scanner stable, i move my head. (cover the glasses with paper to prevent distortion)
2. Get a hi-def textured model without death (google: death mask)
3. Check the STL
4. Make a 2.5D version for CNC, fisrt Rough routing
5. Now Fine routing with 45 Degree path
6. Tada!
7. Sculpture out fine details
8. Finished
9. Cast with oomoo
