Final Project | Protosaber

In this clip, I am selecting the protosaber blade color. First, I press the button to enter the red select mode, and turn the poteniometer dial to change the brightness of the red light. Pressing the button again lets me change the green light, and pressing it again will allow me to change the blue light. Once more button press disables the color changing dial so that the color is fixed. To change the color again, the button can be pressed again to repeat the cycle.

The bottom half of the handle slides open to reveal the protosaber crystal, which is illuminated by an RGB LED. This epoxy cast crystal "powers" the saber (according to the Star Wars canon). Really it's powered by 5V.
