about me!

Hi, I'm Jakin! I'm a sophomore at MIT, and I'm a math major + linguistics concentrator here at MIT and I'm super excited to take this class and learn more about fabrication/electronics! I like origami (I am in origaMIT) as well as puzzles (my friend Sophia and I wrote a puzzlehunt once!). Some projects I've worked on before include coding an Android app, making a remote-controlled robot game for my 2.00B (toy lab) final project, physics research on magnetically actuated origami, and math research on a result in combinatorics.

Here are some photos that make me happy (my dog, an egg, an apple pie by me and my brother, another dog, a random dog I met in the archshops, random origami that was in my room in high school, and turtles designed by my friend Andy that we folded last IAP).
