04 Electronic Design
This week I designed a Echo Board, generating the schematic for the board using Fusion360.
Tools: Fusion360, Mods, Roland Milling Machine
First, I generated the schematic of the board using Fusion 360. And with some help from Andrés Rico, I was able toadd a push button and LED. Not all the components I wanted to place on the board were in the Fusion360 Lab library, so I downloaded some extra components from UltraLibrarian, SnapEDA, and Digi-Key.
Following, I moved to the PCB layout for component placement and routing. And following exported as a PNG.
My first attempt to mill failed since the DPI of the PNG that mods detected was different than the actual DPI, so the circuit ended up being smaller
Finally, I I used the following settings and was able to mill on the correct size.
Finally, I was able to get it the components soldered.
