This was my first time milling and soldering! It was quite exciting to mill a pcb board and have some experience with using the custom-made mods software to send a design to the milling machine. This is how the mods site looks:
The milling machine takes quite a while to trace the board, as we can see in the video below, but the outlining takes quite a bit faster. The finished version of the milling is shown below. We decided to mill some extra copies :).
And this is what a single milled copy looked like:
After some rather painful soldering (that produced two failed boards mind you), a working board was produced that did not throw an error when plugged into the computer:
