Laser & Vinyl Cutting + Website
Parametric Box & Harvard Sticker

I decided to create squares that could press together for my parametric design. I explored Gram, Cuttle, and Fusion 360 software. I decided to use Fusion 360 since it made working alongside my peers easier. My initial design within 360 did not print well, and I had a lot of double lines. I also wanted a kit that could be combined to make various-sized boxes for storage. I redesigned the squares with cleaner lines and was careful about where I added constraints. This allowed me to create boxes, but the joints were flimsy and hard to construct. My next step would be to explore different joints for sturdiness.

This allowed me to create boxes, but the joints were flimsy and hard to construct. I cut them using an Epilog Laser cutter. My design was flawed and had double lines, so the fit wasn't great. My next step would be to explore different joints for sturdiness.

Vinyl Cutting - Laptop Sticker: I decided to make a laptop sticker of the Harvard logo. I used corel draw to outline trace the image and cut. After removing the pieces I didn't want and using trasfter paper, the sticker went on smoothly.

Website development - I created a basic website structure to display my work for the first 2 weeks. I hope to add separate pages each week and better size my images. I would also like to add different colors and design elements throughout the course.
