2. The Progress
1. Record 360 Video with Insta360
I recorded videos instead of taking photos because the former is more productive and can generate enough overlap between adjacent images, which is crucial for successful photogrammetry.
2. Converting the Video to Single-Frame Images
More than 4000 photos were generated from the recorded video, in order to calculate the 3d model by photogrammetry.
3. Processing in Agisoft Metashape
Under workflow tab, click the different operations in order from top to bottom.
1. Align Photos
Align Photos to create point cloud.
2. Build Dense Cloud
3. Build Mesh
4. Build Texture
After having the 33d model and the texture, I imported it to Cinema 4D to render the video in the beginning.
