Hi, I'm Dünya!
I am driven to apply computation to biology and biology to computation. My work centers around two themes: Human & AI Cognition and Biomimetic Engineering.
Currently, I am a visiting student at the Fluid Interfaces group at the MIT Media Lab, researching on combining brain-computer interfaces and LLMs for learning and creativity. 🧠
I have been co-leading the Harvard student-founded Augmentation Lab for the past six months and am also working on Enact, a team at the Harvard Innovation Lab. I am doing my Master's in Bioinformatics at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Before this, I completed my undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at University College London (UCL) in the UK and gained some experience in the German startup ecosystem.
