Group Project

Our project is called Drop It Like It's Hot, a controllable electromagnet-powered grabber that can pick up metallic objects and move them around a set area. I was on TEAM FRAME, which means I helped design the T-slot frame of the project, as well as the base, backing, and any necessary structural reinforcements and mountings for other components.

Midterm Review

The midterm review with Diana was a heavy soul-search moment for me. I was torn between continuing my solar-powered lotus lamp from output device week or continuing my walking table from computer-controlled machine week. I went back and forth a lot, but ultimately realized I was more excited to get my table moving.
